Gruber recently linked to an article that explains how to fix an “Open with...” menu that has become riddled with duplicates.

If a bug is common enough that one of the most widely read Apple pundits considers the fix link-worthy, maybe the time has come to fix it? Especially when the bug has been around since 2004 or so.

I'm sure it's a pesky one to solve, but let's be honest, if it were any other company, we'd be all over them for this sort of issue.
